Funding through generous giving is how we sustain the FOC's mission of inspiring meaningful connections between people and nature through immersive plant experiences, cultural arts programming, and educational opportunities for all ages.
Corporate Sponsorship Tiers 2024
We welcome sponsorship of any amount. The following tiers give an idea of what you’re empowering FOC to contribute to the Volunteer Park Conservatory. Unless otherwise specified, all sponsorships are used at the discretion of FOC and these are only examples of how sponsorship contributes to the FOC’s mission.

Corporate Sponsorship FAQs 2024

We currently have 5 opportunities available for sponsorship at the $10,000 and above level. Sponsorship of these programs will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. In addition to the normal sponsorship benefits, exclusive program sponsorship includes recognition during the program. For recurring programs, sponsorship benefits are available up to 12 months from the sponsorship date. All attendance numbers are estimated and cannot be guaranteed.
Annual Meeting and Open House (Currently Available)
The Annual Meeting and Open House on October 5, 2024 is an opportunity for FOC members and the public to learn more about the conservatory and participate in plant-related activities.
Expected attendance: 50
Note: We have not held this event before so forecasted attendance is not based on historical data. Any organization that sponsors this event will be highlighted as the Open House’s sponsor. It is important to note that we will also be acknowledging all of our sponsors during the appreciation portion of this event.
Family Admission Saturday Activities (Currently Available)
These family-friendly activities take place on the first Saturday of each month, coordinating with our Family Admission Saturday.
Expected attendance: 200 to 500 people over a year.
Note: This is a recurring, monthly event. Sponsorship is recognized for a single instance or multiple instances.
Monthly VPC Tours (Currently Available)
Public, gardener-led tour of the Volunteer Park Conservatory.
Expected attendance: 15 people per month x 9 = 135 people (there are no tours in January, November, and December)
Note: This is a recurring, monthly event. Sponsorship is recognized for a single instance or multiple instances. In addition, sponsors are provided two spots on any one tour during the period.
Spring Plant Sale (Currently Available for 2025)
The Spring Plant Sale on May 4th and 5th, 2024 is an opportunity for the community to support Friends of the Conservatory and bring plants into their own lives.
Expected attendance: 1000 to 1500 people
Fall Plant Sale (Currently Available)
The Fall Plant Sale on September 14th and 15th, 2024 is an opportunity for the community to support Friends of the Conservatory and bring plants into their own lives.

We strive to preserve the historic structures of the Conservatory and sustain the plant collections for future generations.
Your meaningful donation allows us to provide programs like family-friendly activities on Free Admission Saturdays, support capital projects to preserve the physical structure, and generally keep us running and delivering on our mission.

Sponsorship is considered for a 12 month period. You may be asked to renew your sponsorship near the end of your 12 months to continue your support of FOC.

The conservatory receives thousands of visitors each year, including both locals and tourists.
FOC’s gift shop contains carefully curated items from 71 vendors, makers, and artists. It had more than 5500 visitors during 2023. It is run by a full-time director and 31 year-round volunteers who donated a total of 1533 hours during 2023.

The Volunteer Park Conservatory is a beloved part of the community and a tropical oasis in the middle of Seattle for all to enjoy. Your support allows you to become part of its history and make it accessible to more Seattlites.

Friends of the Conservatory is happy to bring our sponsor’s brands to our audience. This is a chance to connect with our community and feature your corporate social responsibility.
