GIFT SHOP
AND CONSERVATORY RESOURCE CENTER
The Conservatory loves you!
A hidden treasure, located in the Palm House, is the FOC gift shop. Here you can find a myriad of botanically related items. There is a wide selection of plants for sale, including exotic orchids as well as…

A new shipment of rare, intriguingly strange succulents and cacti from Fleetfoot and Fowlweather.
Hand painted and locally made flower pots, books on plants and how to grow them, nature-themed jewelry, much of it handcrafted by local artists, available at excellent prices: perfect for a unique gift, or for you! Other gift items include sweet smelling, locally made lotion bar and skin repair; handmade, gorgeous greeting cards of the plants blooming in the various Conservatory houses; postcards of Volunteer Park and much more including…
A beautiful new book ‘Flowers of Volunteer Park Conservatory’ by photographer and author Sara L. Chapman. The book contains photographs of all the plants in the Conservatory throughout the year with an identification guide.
In the information corner there are flyers on the different plants in the Conservatory, and materials about Volunteer Park and the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Here you can examine plant parts through a microscope, and browse through the excellent reference books. You can also leave questions for the gardeners if the shop volunteers can’t answer your question.
Stop in and enjoy. Proceeds from the shop help to support and enhance the Conservatory.
